After a brief dry spell, I'm back to blogging. Perhaps it's because I'm feeling generous after winning big on lottery tickets and want to share my wealth, or maybe I don't want to disappoint my fan(s)...

First - the lottery tickets: After investing $2 in raffle tickets, I won around 20 scratch off tickets (~$50 worth). After a hard night of scratching and removing tickets from the cardboard, we ended up with just $11 for our troubles. I know this is a 500%+ return on the investment, but we could have won over $140,000. I kinda feel like the Deal or No Deal contestant who opens one too many briefcases and then tries to make up for it by opening the rest.

Next - not that I'm going to get one (because I still love my Samsung i760), but the iPhone 3G looks great. A plethora of third apps to be available, true GPS, and a new price point make this really appetizing. Of course the new price point is wiped out and more by the $10 increase in the monthly charges ($240 for 2 year contract), but I'm guessing few will notice or care.

Lastly - little (or not so little) Rory is still awesome. He's getting so much more interactive and so much more personality. Of course this means he's also getting to have opinions also some attitudes.

We are looking forward to the weekend of family time and Rory's baptism. It's been a lot of prep for it and there's still much more to do, but it will be good to see everyone.
