My Wife Loves Me...

Very, very much. First, she told me a while back that Deborah/Debbie Gibson was performing at Harrah's in Atlantic City for a few weeks. Then she agreed to go with me! We'll be dropping the little one off at Grandma Ely's house for the night while we go watch Deborah perform showtunes from the plays she's been in plus some of her classics. I am very much looking forward to it. More later!

Dancing With The Stars Finale

The title was hers to lose, but Kristi Yamaguchi held on and fended off strong performances by Jason and Cristian. Some of her perfect scores might have been debatable, but she did finish well. My favorites, defensive end Jason Taylor, did very well, but just couldn't top her.

It'll be interesting to see which B/C/D-list celebs are up for next season. And I still love Tom Bergeron as host!

American Idol Finale

97.5 million votes (roughly 500,ooo people - my estimate) were tallied and by a 12 million vote margin, the right David (Cook) won. David A was his usual "awe-shucks" self and Cook seemed pretty moved by things. Hopefully he will bring out a great album right out of the gate. All the madness begins again next January!

Lack of Excitement

I apologize to my reader(s) for not posting as much this week. I'm not entirely sure why I had so much difficulty, but I will work on improving my updates.

Bully Hill and points west

Quite an exhausting weekend for us as we went out west (to the Finger Lakes) to go wine tasting with some friends. A wide variety of places and experiences were found. I think we all had our favorites and everyone bought plenty of wine.

Looking forward to mini-golf!
